แปลตรงตัวก็คือโหมดสำส่อน ซึ่งในทาง Network นั้นหมายความว่า เป็นการเปิดโหมดให้รับ Packet ต่างๆทั้งหมด ที่ส่งมายังการ์ด Network Interface โดยไม่สนว่าข้อมูลที่ถูกส่งมาจำเป็นต้องส่งมาที่ MAC Address ของเรา
